Meet Jasmine

J.Lafaye Events & Rentals was founded by Jasmine Paige-McCorvey. Jasmine is a passionate entrepreneur who strives to provide the supreme experience for each client. Jasmine began building the foundation of her career with a degree in Criminal Justice where she utilized her knowledge to inspire her community and become a voice for those who are voiceless. She began serving her community trying to bring change to a system that is unjust. Jasmine enhanced her passion for Change by furthering her education & obtaining a Master’s degree in Justice Administration. With this degree Jasmine is able to focus on the business component of the criminal justice system. She uses her degree to strategize & implement different programs that are beneficial to individuals incarcerated.
Jasmine has always had a passion for serving people! In fact, she serves as the psalmist for her local church. Early on as a Psalmist, years ago, she began attending weddings to accompany her father, a clergy. At the weddings, Jasmine would serve as the psalmist for the weddings, rendering several song selections, before her father conducted the ceremony. As Jasmine began traveling more and more with her father, she traveled all over the world, observing and learning much about the wedding/event industry.
As a result of her experience traveling as a psalmist, Jasmine learned extensive details and insight about the wedding industry & she decided to shift her passion towards event planning. Initially, she began designing layouts and developing a unique design for her clients. As time passed, Jasmine talents and expertise expanded and she began to obtain and offer different merchandise to her clients as rentals. Jasmine built her company to be a full design and production company that can meet the needs of any client!
